Disco

Disco is a dwarf teckel rood long hair, 5.5 years old, microchipped and spayed. She is a true teckel so loves to dig and be outside a lot but also loves to snuggle and attaches to people easily. She likes other dogs & likes to have dog friends but sometimes weary of very big dogs. She is barky at the doorbell and people coming inside but knows commands and listens. She can be spooked by unknown small kids going at her but can be calmed & controlled easily, she listens well. She is very smart and needs a lot of walks and play engagement to keep her mind active at this stage of her life. She likes a good routine. She loves an adventure, the beach is amazing and to the forest, also on holiday to places. She really wants to be somewhere that has much more nature and with people who have the dedication to keep training her, she Is very smart and requires a lot of mental engagement and stimulation.

I am moving back to New Zealand and I can't take her with me. I want her to be happy.

Her ideal new owners are:

-A couple active + someone at home most of the time
-Somewhere with a backyard, not in the city
-Close to nature, beach, forest walks
-Someone who is prepared to do mental engagement activities with her
-Someone with another small dog, another teckel
-Someone who has had teckels before and knows the breed well

What will not be a match:

-A single person on their own with a busy schedule
-Family with small children
-Couple with a big dog
-People who live in a busy city environment
-People with cats
