Omschrijving
Breed: Angora & Van Cat Mix
Age: 06.2023
Gender: Female
Rescue Story
Irma was pregnant when she was found in a mountainous area on the outskirts of the city. She perched high in a tree, hiding among the branches, surrounded by roaming dogs. We immediately took her to safety, and she gave birth to six kittens and nurtured them with unwavering love. She also accepted another orphaned kitten and nursed her, sharing her milk and care.
Given how wonderful she was as a mother, we can safely assume that that was not her first pregnancy. Her gentle and nurturing nature captured our hearts, and we knew we couldn’t let her return to the streets. All seven kitties found homes, now it’s Irma’s turn!
Personality
Irma is an extremely affectionate, loving, and cuddly cat — the perfect companion for anyone looking for warmth and connection at home. She adores being held, petted, and hugged. You’ll often find her happily curling up on your lap or following you from room to room, always ready to join you in whatever you’re doing.
She’s playful but never hyperactive, talkative but not noisy — the ideal balance of fun and calm. Irma is truly a gentle soul who wants to be close to her humans as much as possible.
It’s impossible to know exactly when and where she was born, but vets estimate she is around 2–3 years old. Despite her young age, she has the gentle, wise spirit of a mature lady who knows how to appreciate life’s comforts.
Irma loves to be involved in your daily life. She might try to wake you up in the morning with gentle headrubs or playful taps, or bring you her favorite toy rod to invite you for a game. But she’s always respectful and patient — you’ll wake up to her purrs and soft cuddles rather than loud demands.
She enjoys evening zoomies or bird watching now and then, but what she loves most is being close to you. Whether it’s brushing, petting, or simply lying by your side, Irma thrives on shared moments. Do you enjoy watching nature documentaries? So does she — check out her photos!
With clear house rules, Irma is very well-behaved. She won’t jump on kitchen counters or tables, and she respects your plants. Give her a scratching post and a cat tree, and she’ll leave your furniture alone. When you come home, she’ll greet you at the door with enthusiastic (and slightly dramatic) meows, asking for hugs and pets right away.
She blossoms in a calm home where she can shower her family with affection.
Irma is ready to find her perfect forever home — one where she can give and receive endless cuddles every single day.

Toelichting
Our adoption fee is EUR 275, which helps cover some of the expenses we've incurred, such as titer tests (to ensure the animal has enough antibodies against rabies), vaccinations, microchipping, etc. This fee covers only about 1/3 of the basic expenses.
