Meet Çörek – a sweet soul looking for a foster family

This is Çörek, a beautiful 5-year-old crossbreed girl (born April 11, 2020). Her name means “sweet bun” in Turkish – and that’s exactly what she is: warm, gentle, and full of love. After surviving life in a shelter, she is now safe with a foster family in Istanbul, but she is in need of a temporary foster home in the Netherlands where she can continue to thrive until her forever family is found.

💛 Her Character
Çörek is the definition of a family dog. She adores people of all ages and is gentle, affectionate, and happy around children. She gets along very well with other dogs. If another dog shows aggression, she calmly stands her ground without causing trouble. With cats, she enjoys a playful chase but has no prey drive and never shows harmful behavior.
