🐾 Meet Fırfır – A Calm and Loving Soul Looking for Her Forever Home 🐾

Fırfır is a 3.5-year-old spayed female Chinook with a gentle heart and a wonderfully calm nature. She was rescued from a shelter in Türkiye after being abandoned, and she is now living in a foster home in Maastricht, where she is quickly adjusting to her new life.

Fırfır is a truly affectionate and easygoing dog. She gets along very well with adults and forms strong bonds with her humans. She is loyal, loving, and enjoys being petted and close to those she trusts. She is calm indoors, does not bark, does not destroy furniture, and has no known behavioral problems.

🐶 Social skills & daily life
She is good with other dogs, showing a calm and harmonious attitude. With cats, she does not show aggression and does not try to harm them. She generally keeps her distance, although she may growl if another animal approaches her food. Overall, she prefers calm and respectful interactions.

👶 Children
Fırfır’s behavior with small children has not yet been observed, so we cannot fully assess this at the moment. However, she is very gentle, calm, and affectionate with adults, and she enjoys quiet, respectful interaction.

🚶‍♀️ Activity & routines
Fırfır loves walking and can comfortably enjoy long walks of 3–4 km, making her a wonderful companion for relaxed outdoor activities. She walks well on a leash and travels calmly by car. She is not yet used to stairs, but with patience and time, she is expected to learn quickly.

🏠 House manners
She was fully house-trained in Türkiye. Due to the recent change in environment, she may need a short adjustment period. She can also use puppy pads if needed.

🔊 Sensitivity & personality
Fırfır can be sensitive to loud noises, which may make her feel uneasy at times. She does have a prey drive, which should be taken into consideration. She listens well, follows commands, and enjoys pleasing her humans.
