Health
Swanky previously had a leg injury after being hit by a car. She had surgery in the past and a metal plate was placed in her leg. Because she repeatedly licked the area, a wound developed. The plate has since been removed, and she received extensive veterinary care, including antibiotics and medical treatment.

Her wound is healing well, but she still tends to lick the area, which can reopen it. For this reason, she has been wearing a protective collar for some time. She is currently not taking any medication.

Her story
Swanky was found on the street with a wound on her leg. When she was rescued, it was discovered that she had previously been hit by a car and operated on. She has spent about 1.5 months in a veterinary clinic receiving treatment and care. Despite everything she has been through, she remains a gentle, affectionate, and trusting dog.

Travel status
All of Swanky’s documents are ready for travel to the Netherlands. Once a foster home is found, her flight will be organized.

We are looking for a patient and loving foster home where she can safely adjust to home life and continue healing. A calm environment and kind caregivers will help her gain confidence and comfort.
