Meet Nova ✨ (affectionately known as “Beast”)

Nova is a 5-year-old mixed-breed girl from Romania, around 20 kg, with a huge personality and a hilarious, slightly wild streak. She’s fun, energetic, and wonderfully goofy — the kind of dog who can make you laugh daily with her zoomies, silly expressions, and dramatic enthusiasm for life. Her nickname, “Beast,” comes from these moments, and it’s always said with love.

At home, Nova is a sweetheart. She’s fully house-trained, well-behaved, and perfectly fine being left alone for several hours once she’s had her exercise and attention. She adores her people and can switch from playful chaos to serious cuddle mode in a heartbeat.

Nova can be unsure around strangers at first and will let you know when someone new comes in — including barking at the doorbell and when visitors arrive. With a bit of patience (and especially treats!), she warms up quite quickly. She’s very food-motivated and, once she decides you’re a friend, she’s affectionate and engaging. With her trusted adult people, she does not show any guarding behavior.

Outside, Nova can be reactive toward other dogs, and because she tends to resource guard things that matter to her — such as food, toys, people, and special places — she is best placed as the only pet in the home. This is about helping her feel safe and secure, not about her being “difficult.” In the right environment, she thrives.

Nova has been to a dogsitter with multiple dogs in the house and joined pack walks too. Due to this we believe that if the new owner or foster is experienced in handling multi dog household, this can also be possible.

She currently lives with two cats and with management and separation when needed, this is doable.

Nova’s *ideal home* is calm and predictable, with no other pets or small children, and with someone who understands dogs, enjoys providing structure, regular exercise, and companionship, and is willing to continue working with her. In return, Nova offers fierce loyalty, endless laughs, and a deep, loving bond.
