Margarita’s story is one we sadly see far too often. Like many cats in Turkey, she was once welcomed into a home as a tiny, adorable kitten—only to be abandoned when she reached maturity. Left to survive on the streets, she was confused and heartbroken.

When we found Margarita, it was immediately clear she had known love before. She was crying at apartment doors, trying to get back inside, searching for the life she once had. We couldn’t leave her behind. After bringing her to safety, we did our best to find her a home locally—but as a tabby past kittenhood, her chances were sadly very low. That’s why we made the decision to begin her overseas adoption journey, where she can finally get the second chance she truly deserves.

Margarita has a gentle and endearing soul. She may seem a little reserved in the first few days as she adjusts, but don’t let that fool you—once she feels safe, her true personality blossoms beautifully. She becomes incredibly affectionate, a true cuddle lover who enjoys being close to her human.

One of her favorite things is watching the world go by from her special window spot. She can spend hours observing birds and life outside, sometimes even drifting off to sleep mid-watch—it’s her peaceful little ritual.

She also enjoys the company of other cats and would be happy in a home with a feline friend. And when Margarita feels completely safe and content, you’ll hear her signature—her deep, soothing, and very noticeable purr that fills the room with comfort.

Margarita is looking for a patient, loving home that will never give up on her again. In return, she will give you warmth, companionship, and a love that only a rescued soul can offer.

Our Adoption Process
1. Initial Screening Form:
We'll send you a screening form to collect essential information.
2. Online Interview:
You'll receive a link to choose a convenient time for a Google Meet call.
3. Home Video:
As the final step, we kindly ask for a home video showing the future living environment of the animal.

We only proceed with candidates who complete all three steps. If needed, we are happy to provide a consent form.
