Roro

DOGSITTER / CO-PARENTING

Roro is a 4-year-old Canaan dog who was rescued in Jordan and came to the Netherlands three years ago. She is a sweet, affectionate girl who loves cuddles. She can be a little shy during the first few minutes of meeting someone new, but once she gets to know you, she quickly warms up and becomes a very loving and loyal friend.

At home, Roro enjoys relaxing, napping, and cuddling on the sofa. Outside, she loves exploring the world through her nose. She is curious, playful, and enjoys walks in the neighborhood, parks, dunes, beaches, and PetPlace stores ;-) She is a medium-to-large dog (22 kg) with a beautiful beige and brown coat, and she generally listens well.

Roro has a funny and charming personality. She might dig a giant hole at the beach, run circles around you in the park like a mischievous child, stop to listen to the neighbors' gossip, or "talk" to you as if she is giving an important speech. She is not a big fan of very crowded places such as shopping malls and generally prefers a calmer, quieter environment. She gets along well with cats and also has many dog friends.

I am raising Roro on my own and, as a foreigner living here, I don't have a strong support network nearby. Sometimes this can be quite challenging. I would love to build a small support circle around Roro by finding one or more volunteer dog walkers or sitters who genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs.

The arrangement can be very flexible. It could be occasional walks or dogsitting when I need to be away for work, appointments, or other commitments, so that Roro can have company instead of staying home alone. If you and Roro enjoy each other's company, I would also be open to a more regular arrangement, vacation dogsitting, or even a co-parenting setup.
