Meet Noni 🤍

Noni is a beautiful, playful and sensitive young cat who was rescued when she was only three weeks old. She can sometimes be cuddly, but she is not a lap cat and needs time before she feels comfortable. Once she begins to feel safe, her sweet and loving personality slowly starts to appear.

Noni loves playing and enjoys spending time outside in the garden.

Unfortunately, Noni has repeatedly been bullied and attacked by the other cats in her current home. Over time, these experiences caused her to become extremely frightened and anxious and changed her personality significantly. For her own safety, she now has to be kept separately in her own room. The garden is the only other place where she feels comfortable other than the bedroom she resides in.

Before the trauma she endured in a multi cat house hold, Noni was a very sweet, playful and loving cat. We know that side of her is still there, but it is hidden behind the fear she has developed from living around other cats.

Noni is currently very fearful and takes a long time to trust new people. She is not aggressive; she is simply frightened and unsure of the world around her. She needs someone who understands that building a relationship with her will take patience, consistency and kindness.

Noni must be the only pet in her new home. She cannot live with other cats or dogs. She has not been tested with children, so a calm home without young children would be most suitable. She needs a peaceful indoor home with safe access to a garden, where she can settle at her own pace without pressure.

With enough time, love and understanding, we believe Noni can feel safe and happy again and show the sweet, playful cat she once was.

We are looking for a patient and understanding adopter who will not expect too much from her immediately. Noni needs someone willing to give her the time and space to adjust and learn to trust again. She may take a long time to settle, but we believe that in the right home, surrounded by patience and kindness, she can slowly become herself again.
