Furby

Furby is an 11-year-old indoor cat who is healthy and does not require any medication or regular vet care. She is a calm and gentle cat, but she is also quite shy at first. She needs time to feel safe and build trust with new people. Once she feels comfortable, she becomes affectionate, sweet, and enjoys quiet companionship.

Furby has been through several changes recently, so stability and a peaceful environment are very important for her. She does not do well with too much noise or frequent changes in environment. Because of this, she is looking for a calm home where she can relax and feel secure.

She prefers to be the only pet in the household, as she can become stressed around other animals. A home without other cats or dogs would be best for her wellbeing.

My ideal temporary caregiver is someone experienced with cats, especially shy or sensitive cats. Someone patient, gentle, and understanding who will give her the time she needs to adjust at her own pace. It is important that Furby is not pressured into interaction and is allowed to come out of her shell naturally.

This is a temporary foster situation due to a housing issue where pets are not allowed. Furby is not being rehomed permanently. She is my beloved cat, and the intention is for her to return to me once I have stable, pet-friendly housing again after a few months.

A quiet home, preferably without small children or other pets, would be ideal. Regular updates would be appreciated so I can stay connected to her during this period.
