Jaya is a beautiful 10-month-old girl who is ready to find a loving family of her own.

Jaya is thriving in her foster home. She is full of energy, playful, and always ready to start a game with the other rescue cats she lives with. Confident and spirited, Jaya likes to be in charge and isn't shy about letting the other cats know it! Her enthusiastic play style can sometimes be a little overwhelming for calmer or older cats, although she is never aggressive. She simply has a big personality and a playful nature.

Because of her strong character and love of being the center of attention, Jaya would likely be happiest as the only cat in the home, where she can enjoy all the space and attention to herself.
Jaya loves to play fetch! Her favorite toy is a soft ball—throw it, and she'll happily chase after it, pick it up, and bring it right back to you, ready for another round.
While Jaya isn't a lap cat, she enjoys being close to her people. When you're relaxing on the couch, she'll often come over for cuddles, happily accepting pets and affection and settling quietly beside you.
Jaya has the sweetest little meow, which she uses whenever she wants your attention. The rest of the time, she's perfectly content finding a cozy spot to nap. You'll often find her stretched out in a quiet corner—or even right in the middle of the house—completely unfazed by people walking past. She knows how to relax just as well as she knows how to play, making her the perfect balance of fun and calm.

For her age, Jaya is quite a striking cat with a larger appearance and a strong, athletic build. She is fit, healthy, and full of life.
