Omschrijving

Hi there!

My name is Pippin, and here is a little info about me. I hope my forever family reads this, because I'm really looking forward to finding my home.

Breed: Orange
Age: 07.2025
Gender: Male

Meet Pippin 🐾💛
Pippin is a young cat with an old soul — soft, calm, and endlessly affectionate, with a story of resilience behind his gentle eyes.

Pippin is now 1 year old, but his journey began when he was found as a tiny kitten, just 2 months old. During his veterinary check-up, despite his young age, he was diagnosed with FIP. Thankfully, it was caught very early, and he had the dry form of the disease. Pippin completed his full treatment successfully, made a complete recovery, and has since finished his full observation period with no symptoms and no side effects.

Pippin has the softest, calmest energy you could ask for in a cat. He's affectionate, trusting, and endlessly gentle — the moment you reach out to touch him, he happily rolls onto his back, offering his belly without a hint of hesitation, welcoming all the rubs that come his way.

He loves to sleep curled up hugging his fluffy toys or a soft blanket, and despite his youth, he carries himself with a peaceful, moderate energy rather than the typical chaos of a young cat. He's quiet, calm, and easy to be around.

Pippin is far from one-dimensional — he's wonderfully social with other cats, playful and friendly, and easy to get along with in a multi-cat household. He strikes the perfect balance between playfulness and calmness, always ready for a cuddle, always content to simply share space with the ones he loves.

Pippin needs a home that see him for who he truly is: a warm, gentle, loving companion who has already overcome so much. He's ready to spend the rest of his life giving and receiving love, without limits. 🐾💛

Potty trained: Yes

Safety measures:
Our cats are used to living as indoor cats in Turkey and in our foster homes in the NL. While we don’t have a strict “indoor-only” rule, we do have some important safety requirements:

1. Outdoor access:
If you would like to allow your cat to go outside freely, a GPS tracker is mandatory. This ensures you can monitor your cat’s location and act quickly in case of any unexpected situation. Outdoor access should only be introduced after at least 3 months, once the cat is fully settled, and only when you are at home. For example, if you are on holiday, your cat should remain indoors.

2. Balcony safety:
If your cat will have access to a balcony in your apartment, it must be fully cat-proofed. This does not need to be in place at the time of application, but it must be completed before the cat arrives.

Our Adoption Process
1. Initial Screening Form
We'll send you a screening form to collect essential information.
2. Online Interview
You'll receive a link to choose a convenient time for a Google Meet call.
3. Home Video
As the final step, we kindly ask for a home video showing the future living environment of the animal.

Please note:
We only proceed with candidates who complete all three steps. If needed, we are happy to provide a consent form.

Toelichting

Our adoption fee is €275.

This contribution helps cover a portion of the essential veterinary and travel expenses such as titer testing (to ensure sufficient rabies antibodies), vaccinations, microchipping, and other mandatory procedures.

However, this fee represents only about one-third of the total basic costs.
Rescuing and preparing a single cat for adoption typically costs us €1,000–€2,000. For this reason, any additional donation is greatly appreciated, as it allows us to continue helping more animals in need.

Our required adoption fee remains €275, and we kindly request it after your cat has safely arrived at your home.
