Omschrijving
Hi there!
My name is Fiona, and here is a little info about me. I hope my forever family reads this, because I'm really looking forward to finding my home.
Breed: Tuxedo
Age:.10.12.2024
Gender: Female
Meet Fiona 🐾
Fiona is a true little princess — a stunning fluffy tuxedo girl with a personality that's every bit as elegant as her looks.
She has a delicately fussy side to her — the kind of charming pickiness that only makes her more endearing — but underneath it all, she is deeply affectionate and loving. Fiona adores climbing into laps for cuddles, and once she settles in, she gives her love freely and completely. She's calm by nature, carrying herself with a quiet, gentle energy that makes her an incredibly soothing presence to have around the home.
One of her favorite pastimes is sitting by the window, watching the world go by for hours at a time. It's clear she finds real comfort and joy in simply observing her surroundings — the birds, the movement outside, the changing light. She also loves to play, though always in her own polite, refined way — no rough or wild behavior here, just gentle, ladylike fun.
Give Fiona her own bed, and she'll claim it proudly as her personal little throne. She takes real pride and comfort in having a space that's entirely hers. When it comes to other cats, she's easygoing and has no history of conflict or fighting — she simply prefers to keep a respectful distance, quietly doing her own thing in her favorite corner rather than actively mingling. It's less about disliking company and more about her being selectively affectionate — she saves her warmth for the moments and the people she chooses.
And when it comes to people, Fiona truly shines. She is deeply people-oriented, seeking out human company and affection, and she expresses her contentment constantly through soft, steady purring — a sound you'll hear often once she feels safe and at home.
Elegant, gently playful, quietly affectionate, and endlessly purring. She's ready to bring her calm, princess-like presence into a home where she can be cherished exactly as she is.
Potty trained: Yes
Health notes: Fully vet checked up, Spayed, Vaccinated & Microchipped. Tested against FIV/FELV and both are negative.
Safety measures:
Our cats are used to living as indoor cats in Turkey and in our foster homes in the NL. While we don’t have a strict “indoor-only” rule, we do have some important safety requirements:
1. Outdoor access:
If you would like to allow your cat to go outside freely, a GPS tracker is mandatory. This ensures you can monitor your cat’s location and act quickly in case of any unexpected situation. Outdoor access should only be introduced after at least 3 months, once the cat is fully settled, and only when you are at home. For example, if you are on holiday, your cat should remain indoors.
2. Balcony safety:
If your cat will have access to a balcony in your apartment, it must be fully cat-proofed. This does not need to be in place at the time of application, but it must be completed before the cat arrives.
Our Adoption Process
1. Initial Screening Form We'll send you a screening form to collect essential information.
2. Online Interview You'll receive a link to choose a convenient time for a Google Meet call.
3. Home Video As the final step, we kindly ask for a home video showing the future living environment of the animal.
Please note: We only proceed with candidates who complete all three steps. If needed, we are happy to provide a consent form.

Toelichting
Our adoption fee is €275.
This contribution helps cover a portion of the essential veterinary and travel expenses such as titer testing (to ensure sufficient rabies antibodies), vaccinations, microchipping, and other mandatory procedures.
However, this fee represents only about one-third of the total basic costs.
Rescuing and preparing a single cat for adoption typically costs us €1,000–€2,000. For this reason, any additional donation is greatly appreciated, as it allows us to continue helping more animals in need.
Our required adoption fee remains €275, and we kindly request it after your cat has safely arrived at your home.
