Miss Marina

Every rescued cat carries a story. Miss Marina wears hers a little more openly than most.

After being abandoned and surviving a traumatic attack, Marina has spent the last six months learning that people can be kind again. She’s made incredible progress and is now ready to find the home she deserves.

Marina isn’t the kind of cat who’ll jump into your lap on day one. She’ll take her time getting to know you, but once she trusts you, she’ll reward you with gentle head butts, quiet companionship and unwavering loyalty.

She’ll always let you know when she’s had enough fuss. She doesn’t enjoy being picked up, and she’s still a little protective of the side where she was once injured. She isn’t difficult; she simply asks to be understood.

Marina is looking for a quiet, adults-only home where she can be the only pet. With a little patience and kindness, she’ll show you just how beautiful trust can be.

Indoor-only. Home check required.

Adoption fee: €275. Every adoption helps support Rescat’s rescue and TNR work and goes towards covering a small portion of the cat's relocation costs to the Netherlands. All our cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated (including Rabies vaccine), dewormed, tested for FIV/FeLV (Miss Marina is negative for both), negative for Mycoplasma as well as FPV, FCoV and Giardia.
