Ginger Boi

Ginger Boi (FIV+) is 4-5 years old, over 7kg of orange-cat personality, and possibly one of the cuddliest, loudest and silliest cats you’ll ever meet.

He LOVES people. He’ll rub his head against your face, kiss your cheeks, nuzzle into your neck and demand as much human company as possible. He’s hilarious, playful, extremely silly and has adapted beautifully to indoor life.

He’s also a former street boy, and occasionally that side still shows. When overstimulated, he can become too rough and bite harder than intended. He responds well to “no”, but needs an experienced, adults-only home where his boundaries will be understood.

His favourite pastime is fighting his own tail while making bizarre little gargling noises 😂 He loves his toys, sturdy cat tree and, above all, his beloved bed, which will be going wherever he goes.

And he can MEOW. LOUDLY. Usually because this extremely social boy wants company, so his future human should be prepared for an orange roommate with built-in surround sound system.

Ginger Boi is currently recovering from a URI and responding beautifully to antibiotics and nebulization. He’s almost completely recovered and will be cleared before adoption.

He is FIV+ (positive) and FeLV negative and needs to be the only cat. His dream is an adults-only home with a fully enclosed, escape-proof balcony, garden or Catio, otherwise he must remain strictly indoors.

Ginger Boi is currently in a foster home in Abu Dhabi and his rescuer will fly him anywhere in Europe for the right home.

He is neutered, microchipped, dewormed and vaccinated including rabies.

Adoption fee: EUR 275 which goes towards covering a small part of his vet and relocation costs from Abu Dhabi.

A home tour video is required to ensure his future home is safe and cat-proofed.
