Mr Bear

Mr Bear is available for adoption in the Netherlands.

This sweetest of souls is another dumped cat, cast out onto the streets of Bahrain to fend for himself during the recent conflict.

Mr Bear is the most gentle and calm cat. He loves human attention. To lie by his person and make air biscuits is his favourite pastime. He’s affectionate and likes to be petted.

He loves a cat tree in a window to watch the world go by and to sunbathe. And if you have some treats for him, he won’t say no.

Mr Bear is a very special boy indeed; he will absolutely thrive being the love of his humans’ life. He has such a calming therapeutic presence, he is an absolute joy to have in the home.

He is best suited to a home without any other pets. He has not been around children but his naturally calm nature suggests that he wouldn’t have any issues as long as he is respected by the children of the house.

He is an indoor cat only, any outdoor space that he has access to, must be fully cat proofed.

Please note that Mr Bear is not a Scottish Fold. He has healed hematoma (assumed to be from previous untreated infections) that give his ears this appearance. He will benefit from having the formed creases wiped regularly to help keep his ears clean. He doesn’t mind this at all. He’s very amenable.

He is a long haired cat. He was shaved for hygiene reasons as he was extremely matted around his belly when he was rescued. He will return to being a fluffy boy once his coat grows back in and with regular brushing he will maintain tip top condition.

Mr Bear is an absolute delight, he would be a wonderful addition to a loving home.

Mr Bear is approximately 2 years old. He is microchipped, neutered, fully health checked and vaccinated included rabies. He is dewormed, treated for tick and flea, negative for FIV/FeLV and has undergone recent dental work including scaling and extractions.

His adoption fee is €275 which goes towards his relocation costs.
