Twiglet

Meet Twiglet, our beautiful little tortie with a gentle soul and a heart that’s still learning to trust.

With her gorgeous amber eyes, fluffy tortoiseshell coat and delicate little face, Twiglet is a real beauty. But what makes her especially endearing is her quiet, gentle personality and the lovely progress she’s making every day.

Twiglet is what her foster mum affectionately calls a proper cat’s cat. She absolutely adores the company of other cats, finds comfort in their presence and learns so much from watching them interact with people. She’s happiest in a peaceful home where she can spend her days napping, observing the world around her and occasionally joining her feline friends for a little playtime.

Although Twiglet is still shy around humans, she’s come a long way in just two months with her foster family. She likes being in the same room as her humans, watching everything from a comfortable distance, and is gradually finding the courage to get closer. There’s a little cuddle bug in there waiting to emerge, but she’ll need someone patient enough to let her discover affection at her own pace.

She’s a wonderfully calm, low-energy girl who enjoys her routines, sleeps peacefully through the night and occasionally gets excited enough to have a little conversation around mealtimes! She also enjoys chasing toys, climbing and watching her feline companions play.

Twiglet’s ideal home is one with at least one friendly, sociable resident cat. This is particularly important for her confidence and happiness, as other cats help her feel safe and continue developing her trust in people. She would thrive in a quiet or moderately active household with understanding adopters who won’t expect immediate cuddles or force interactions. When frightened, she may hide or react defensively, so respecting her boundaries and giving her time to settle is essential.

Despite everything she’s experienced, Twiglet has shown remarkable courage and an incredible willingness to learn. She’s not the kind of cat who will necessarily jump into your lap on day one, but watching her blossom into the confident, affectionate girl she’s becoming will be incredibly rewarding.

Adoption fees: €275 only payable upon her arrival in her forever home. This fee helps cover a small part of her relocation costs from Bahrain.

Twiglet has no reported ongoing medical conditions or special care requirements and is currently being fostered in Bahrain. Her veterinary records will be shared with her new family and pet insurance is highly recommended.

Our adoption process includes an application form, a video call, a video tour of your home and a review of all windows, balconies and other potential escape routes to ensure her new home is properly cat-proofed. Any outdoor spaces including balconies, gardens, backyards & windows must be cat-proofed to ensure her safety indoors at all times.

For cat introductions, we always recommend following the Jackson Galaxy method for 3-8 weeks.
