Ella Hope

Meet Ella Hope 🤍

Some cats take a little longer to show you who they really are, and Ella Hope is one of those girls.

Ella Hope is one of the 52 cats rescued from a hoarding case back in July, after their owner passed away and she and her siblings were left behind. They were found severely malnourished, living in a home infested with cockroaches and in conditions no cat should ever have to endure.

Ella Hope spent three weeks at the vet receiving the care she desperately needed. When she was finally ready for foster care, we weren’t quite sure what to expect from this quiet little girl.

But with safety, good food, affection and time, Ella Hope slowly began to blossom.

She is now a healthy, beautiful girl who loves her wand toys, enjoys playing and is becoming more confident every day. And while she may still be a little shy at first, we’re getting to see more and more of her playful personality.

Ella Hope just needs someone who understands that settling into a new home doesn’t always happen overnight.

New people, new surroundings and a completely different environment can be a lot for a cat who has already been through so much. She needs someone who will give her the time and space to feel safe, without rushing her.

Give Ella Hope that little bit of patience, and you’ll get to see the sweet girl who has been waiting underneath it all.

She has already come such a long way. Now she just needs someone who will give her the chance to finish her journey — in a home of her own.

Ella Hope is health checked and ready to travel to her forever home. She is spayed, microchipped, dewormed, vaccinated, and tested negative for FIV, FeLV & Mycoplasma.

A home tour video is required so we can ensure the environment is safe and fully cat-proofed before adoption. Ella Hope is an indoor-only cat unless access to a fully enclosed, fully cat-proofed space is available to her.

Her adoption fee is €275 which helps cover part of her rescue costs while supporting Rescat’s ongoing rescue and TNR work.
