Friday

This is a really hard post to write, but we’re looking for a new home for our sweet girl, Friday.

We got Friday when we were living in the States, out on some land outside the city - and she was in her element there. When we moved to the city, we hoped she’d settle in. It’s been a year now, and she just hasn’t adjusted. She’s an anxious girl, and apartment life isn’t giving her the space or calm she needs. We truly hate having to do this, but we want what’s best for her.

About Friday:
She’s housebroken, friendly with other animals and people once she warms up, a gentle girl, and an absolute sweetheart. Her favorite things are snoozing, chewing on her bones, and getting lots and lots of pets.

Friday has a fear of loud noises, especially fireworks. Other unexpected bangs can also startle her. She then panics and wants to get home as quickly as possible. This makes living in an urban environment difficult.

What we’re hoping for:
A home outside the city with an outdoor space where she can run and relax, and someone with a car who can get her to the vet and groomer. A calm, patient household would be perfect for her to settle in and blossom.

You may have seen Friday listed here about a month ago, we have really struggled with this decision so we took her down for a while. But in the end we feel certain its the best possible thing for her. So, we've revived this listing. Thanks!
