Sam

Meet Sam, a tiny but mighty boy searching for his forever home in the Netherlands.

Sam was rescued at just two weeks old, he was hand-reared until he able to eat solid food by himself. Tiny Sam has to spend several months in a cage at the vet due to a severe fungal infection. Despite his small size and young age, he survived the illness and is now fully recovered, free of any fungal and thriving well at his foster home.

Now 11 months old, but Sam remains very small for his age. He looks just like 3 months old. His early socialization means he's comfortable around people, but he is cautious with strangers. He will observe you first, ensuring you're no danger to him, then gradually approach, sniff, and eventually nuzzle against you, purring happily. While he tends to hide initially, offering him treats will encourage him to come closer and from there, he will allow you to pet him.

Once Sam is comfortable with you, he will come to sit on your lap when you are relaxing next to him. He enjoys it when you rub his forehead and gives him some scritches. He is very soft and cuddly like a little stuff toy. He allows you to pick him up and carried him around.

Although Sam loves to play with his feline friends, bounding around and chasing toys together, you will also often find him spending time alone. When his energy is high, he can be a bit mischievous, playfully jumping at other cats to initiate fun.

He gets along well with other cats and currently shares a room with multiple feline friends. He is best suited in a home with another friendly and calm cat but equally do well aswell as an alone pet. He is a very easy cat to care for and since he is very tiny, he can’t jump up high like on top of cabinet.

He is fully vaccinated for both tricat and rabies, neutered, dewormed, microchipped, tested negative for mycoplasma, Giardia and FIV/FeLV.

Sam is still in Bahrain but can travel as soon as home is found for him.
