Some cats choose their people, and Coffee chose hers while lost in the desert.

In April 2026, Coffee approached a hiker in the desert, desperately hungry, thirsty, and seeking help. The only thing her rescuer had on hand was a coffee cup, which he filled with water for her to drink. That simple act of kindness changed her life forever and earned her the name Coffee.

After veterinary care, good food, and lots of love, this beautiful tortoiseshell girl has blossomed into the affectionate, happy cat she was always meant to be.

Born in June 2025, Coffee is a gorgeous tortoiseshell with striking amber eyes and a personality that melts hearts. She settled into her foster home almost immediately, behaving as though she had lived there her whole life. Within days, she was sleeping on the sofa, curling up near her humans, and making friends with the resident cats as if she’d always belonged there.

Coffee is affectionate, friendly, and playful. She loves attention, enjoys chin scratches, and likes to stay close to her people. While she isn’t a lap cat, she’s the kind of companion who will quietly choose your company, curl up beside you, and make every room feel a little warmer.

She also has a playful side and loves chasing toys, climbing, and exploring. Despite her energy, Coffee is wonderfully easy-going, adapts quickly to new environments, has perfect litter box manners, and gets along beautifully with both cats and children.

Coffee is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. She has no known health issues and is ready to travel from Bahrain to the Netherlands to find her forever family.

As part of our application process, we require a home tour video showing us all the spaces Coffee would have access to, especially any exits, balconies, windows, or outdoor areas, so we can provide cat-proofing solutions and ensure her safety indoors at all times. All our Rescats are strictly indoor-only cats and may never be allowed to roam freely outdoors.

Coffee’s adoption fee is €275, which helps us continue rescuing cats in need and supporting TNR for street cats who have nobody else looking out for them. Coffee is spayed, microchipped, dewormed, vaccinated, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV and Mycoplasma.
