Athena

Athena was found near a restaurant in Bahrain with her mother and two siblings when she was just two months old. The little family was searching for food among the leftovers and would constantly wander onto a busy road, completely unaware of the danger. Sadly, after becoming ill from eating spoiled food, Athena’s brother didn’t survive. Athena fought through it all and thankfully grew into the happy and healthy girl she is today.

Athena is an active, curious and playful girl. She can be a little shy when she first meets someone, but once she feels safe and learns to trust you, her sweet and affectionate personality really comes out. She loves spending time with her people, enjoys cuddles and is also a lap cat.

She loves to play with bottle caps, laser pointers, feather toys and pretty much anything she can chase. She is also very food motivated, so treats are definitely the quickest way to win her heart!

Athena gets along well with other cats and is also good with children. She hasn’t been tested with dogs. She can comfortably be left alone for around eight hours and would suit a loving home where she can continue to build her confidence, have plenty of playtime and receive all the affection she deserves.

Athena is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped, has no known health issues, and has tested negative for both FIV and FeLV. She also has the most beautiful, mesmerising eyes. Give her a little patience while she settles in, and she will reward you with so much love and affection.
