Omschrijving
Hi there!
My name is Josie, and here is a little info about me. I hope my forever family reads this, because I'm really looking forward to finding my home.
Breed: Tortishell
Age: 07.2025
Gender: Female
Meet Josie: your fun-loving, cuddly new best friend! 🐾
Josie is a sweet, playful girl who is full of personality. She has a moderate energy level. she loves to play and keep things fun, but she is just as happy to slow down and relax with you.
She is always ready for a hug and a snuggle. She will come to your lap when you get home after a long day, she loves chilling next to you on the couch, and she may even join you at night for some extra closeness.
Josie loves to play, and her all-time favorite toy is her cat fish toy. She is not picky at all, so any toy will make her happy. She also has a big soft spot for creamy treats. In fact, a creamy treat is the fastest way to her heart.
Josie is a friendly girl who gets used to new places pretty quickly. She settles in fast, so the move to her forever home should be smooth for her. A tall cat tower will make her very happy. She likes being up high, watching everything from her favorite spot.
Josie is good with other cats. We don’t know yet how she feels about dogs. With a calm, slow introduction, she may learn to live happily with a dog too.
Josie would do best in a loving home where she gets lots of attention and affection. She would be a wonderful companion for a single person, a couple, or a family who wants a warm, friendly cat to share daily life with.
If you are ready for a sweet, fun cuddle buddy, Josie is waiting for you! 💛
Potty trained: Yes
Health notes: Fully vet checked up, Spayed, Vaccinated & Microchipped. Tested against FIV & FELV and both are negative.
Safety measures:
Our cats are used to living as indoor cats in Turkey and in our foster homes in the NL. While we don’t have a strict “indoor-only” rule, we do have some important safety requirements:
1. Outdoor access:
If you would like to allow your cat to go outside freely, a GPS tracker is mandatory. This ensures you can monitor your cat’s location and act quickly in case of any unexpected situation. Outdoor access should only be introduced after at least 3 months, once the cat is fully settled, and only when you are at home. For example, if you are on holiday, your cat should remain indoors.
2. Balcony safety:
If your cat will have access to a balcony in your apartment, it must be fully cat-proofed. This does not need to be in place at the time of application, but it must be completed before the cat arrives.
Our Adoption Process
1. Initial Screening Form We'll send you a screening form to collect essential information.
2. Online Interview You'll receive a link to choose a convenient time for a Google Meet call.
3. Home Video As the final step, we kindly ask for a home video showing the future living environment of the animal.
Please note: We only proceed with candidates who complete all three steps. If needed, we are happy to provide a consent form.
We always reply within 24-48 hours by email. If you haven’t heard from us, please check your spam folder. If we don’t hear back from you within 3 days of our email, we will remove your adoption interest. If you need more time, that’s no problem. Just send us a short message and we’ll keep your application open.

Toelichting
Our adoption fee is €275.
This contribution helps cover a portion of the essential veterinary and travel expenses such as titer testing (to ensure sufficient rabies antibodies), vaccinations, microchipping, and other mandatory procedures.
However, this fee represents only about one-third of the total basic costs.
Rescuing and preparing a single cat for adoption typically costs us €1,000–€2,000. For this reason, any additional donation is greatly appreciated, as it allows us to continue helping more animals in need.
Our required adoption fee remains €275, and we kindly request it after your cat has safely arrived at your home.
