Meet Boncuk – The Hugger 🐾💛

Boncuk is a German Shepherd mix, and if there’s one thing you should know about him, it’s this: he is a true cuddle enthusiast. Give him the chance and he’ll happily curl up right next to you, lean into you, and enjoy every bit of affection you’re willing to give. For Boncuk, there’s hardly such a thing as too many cuddles. 🥰

And while he may have the looks of a German Shepherd, don’t let that fool you. Boncuk is not watchful, guarded, or overly serious. Quite the opposite — he is one of the softest and gentlest dogs you could meet. He has a wonderfully calm nature and a heart full of affection.

One of the things we love most about Boncuk is the way he shares his love. He isn't jealous or possessive at all. If you are cuddling another dog or animal, he won't try to push them away or demand all the attention for himself. Instead, he'll simply come over and happily join the cuddle session. For Boncuk, love isn't something to compete for — it's something to share. ❤️

He is also very social with other dogs and enjoys their company. We haven't had the opportunity to see him living with cats yet, so we can't say for certain how he would react to them, but we're always happy to help explore this together with a potential adopter.

Boncuk is also a big fan of kisses! 😘 And if there's a tasty treat involved, you've definitely got his attention. He is very food motivated, which makes training not only easier but also a fun way to build an even stronger bond with him.

Despite his size, Boncuk has a wonderfully easygoing personality. He doesn't need to be the centre of attention — he simply wants to be close to his people, included in daily life, and surrounded by love.
